Laundry symbols printable cheat sheet
No PDF to download and no email to hand over: press Ctrl+P (or Cmd+P on a Mac) on this page and the sheet below prints on a single A4/Letter page. Menus, ads and buttons are removed automatically by the print stylesheet — only the cheat sheet goes on paper.
What's on the sheet
The 24 symbols that cover virtually every real care label: wash temperatures and bars, hand wash, the three bleach triangles, dryer dots, natural drying, iron dots and the dry-clean letters. Meanings verified against GINETEX's published definitions.

Three rules that cover everything
- Numbers = maximum °C; dots = heat level; bars = be gentler; a cross = never.
- When two symbols disagree, follow the strictest one.
- "Do not" symbols are absolute — everything else is a maximum, not a target.
Printing tips
- In the print dialog, enable Background graphics if the sheet looks pale — though it is designed to work without it (black on white).
- The sheet fits one page at default scale on A4 and US Letter; if your printer scales oddly, choose "Fit to page".
- Laminate it or tape it inside a cupboard door — it survives splashes better.
