Privacy policy

Last updated: October 29, 2026

LaundryCode is a small informational site. This policy explains, in plain language, what happens to data when you use it. Short version: the site itself stores almost nothing; the things that touch your data are the ad and analytics providers described below, and you can refuse them.

What the site itself collects

Advertising

The site displays advertising (currently via reserved slots; a provider such as Google AdSense may serve them). Ad providers may set cookies or read device identifiers to measure or personalize ads. In the EU/UK this only happens if you accept it in the consent banner; if you reject, the site does not load the ad scripts at all. You can also manage Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com.

Analytics

If enabled, the site uses privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Plausible) or GA4 with IP anonymization. These tools record page visits in aggregate. No cross-site profiles are built by the site itself.

Affiliate links

Some outbound product links are affiliate links (marked "sponsored"). If you click one, the merchant's site may set its own cookies and pays us a commission on a purchase at no cost to you. See the disclosure page.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EEA/UK, CCPA in California), you have rights to access, correct, delete or export personal data, and to object to processing. Because the site stores no personal data itself, most requests resolve at the provider level — contact Vantoron@gmail.com and we will point you to the right process or pass the request on.

Children

The site is written for adults doing laundry and collects no age information. It is not directed at children under 13 (16 in the EEA).

Changes

If this policy changes materially, the "last updated" date above changes with it. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the current version.
