GINETEX owns the standard, and the official care symbols are protected trademarks in most countries, used under licence on garments. LaundryCode is not affiliated with, endorsed by or licensed by GINETEX or ISO. Every symbol graphic on this site is our own simplified drawing provided to explain the documented meanings; it is not, and is not presented as, the official artwork. Text explanations of symbol meanings are standard reference information drawn from the published definitions.
